To all Clients,

As reopening the salon gets closer, its time to make the new salon regulations a little clearer, for what’s going to be a very different experience for myself and client. It will take a little time to get used to, but we want you to be aware that we are going to do everything in our power to make your salon experience as safe and comfortable as possible for the foreseeable future and make it the new normal. 

We please ask for your patience during these crazy times, we are as prepared as possible, but it will be a learning experience for us all. We understand your appointments are going to feel very different, but we are only doing these things to allow you to have your hair done, after waiting so patiently! We will continuously be reassessing and changing things if they need to be, we will keep up to date with the latest guidelines and rules.

We are putting our trust into all our clients, and we hope that you will be completely honest about any contact you may have had with Covid-19. 

You will need to complete a short screening form before each appointment.

If you have been exposed to the virus, or are showing any symptoms at all, we, please ask that you cancel your appointment and do not attend the salon. 

If you find out you have been exposed to the virus in the week following your appointment, you must inform me of this. This is one of the most important things I will ask of all my clients.

It will be a limited treatment list for reopening; however, this will be continuously reassessed and changed if ok to do so. I will only be offering hair appointments to start with but will keep my clients updated as to whether this may change.

At the Salon 

Only one client per stylist will be allowed in the salon at a time.

Please wait in your car for a phone call/text to say we are ready for you to come into the salon.

Please come alone to your appointment, we do not have any waiting areas/seats available at the moment.

Please sanitise your hands upon entering the salon. Do not touch any surfaces you do not need to, please leave your coat/bag/belongings in the car or at home if possible, only bring any absolute essentials. 

Please wear a face-covering or mask for the duration of your appointment, you will not be able to take this off during your visit to the salon. If you cannot provide your own mask, I can provide one for £1. We ask you to please take this home with you and dispose of yourself. 

We will not be providing any refreshments or reading materials, so please feel free to bring a drink or book/magazine with you, we are also asking politely to try avoid using the toilet, so please use the toilet at home before you come. 

I will not be offering dry trims, hair must be washed before your appointment, or I will wash it upon arrival at an extra cost. For all colour appointments, hair must be washed the night before or on the morning of your appointment.

I will not be accepting cash for the foreseeable, it will be contactless payment where possible or chip & pin if necessary. 

For your own peace of mind, I will be wearing all the necessary PPE to keep us as safe as possible, everything will be disposable where possible, and all tools and equipment will be thoroughly sterilised in between each client.

Days & appointment times will vary, I will be allowing time between each client to thoroughly clean and sterilise everything used and clean all areas that may have come into contact with. Please respect social distancing at all times where possible.
